ILLUSTRATIONS
- I made these illustrations for
Baby Gift Place,
for their line of baby gift products. The watercolor pictures,
which they put to ingenious use, include:
Noah's Ark,
Soccer,
Basketball,
Baseball,
Football,
Golf, and
Tennis Bears.
- This pen and ink drawing was commissioned by
Schuler Books of Okemos,
Michigan, for the promotion of their 1999 Summer Reading Program.
It features Good Sir Read-A-Lot
who gallops about the countryside proclaiming: "Joust Read!"
- Kevin McQuigg, philosophizing,
Pizza Man extraordinaire, is
featured here as the center of all things pizza in this pen
and ink work made for his restaurant, Rizzos Pizza,
of Flint, Michigan.
- This is a Christmas Card that my
husband, Andreas Gehrs-Pahl, and I collaborated on. He drew the
plane (a Grumman F9F-5 Cougar), and I drew the rest,
using our two cats, Cougar and Tootsie, as models and inspirations.
